Hi! I’m Jared.
I am a tech-forward process nerd with a passion for cracking the trickiest creative puzzles. In my professional life, I believe any project is a successful one if I can say I’ve learned something new along the way, whether about my own craft or the concepts I’ve helped my clients communicate.
Since 2009, my animation work in broadcast documentaries and for brands contributed to my teams and clients earning some cool awards, including a couple of Cine Golden Eagles; a nomination for a News & Documentary Emmy (I totally bought the plaque for that one); the Webbys a few times; a handful of Silver and Bronze Hatch Awards; all three flavors of Telly Awards; and one Vimeo Staff Pick.
Non-professionally, my cup runneth over with gratitude for my wonderful family: my badass wife, indomitable son, and my unyielding frenemy, Merlin the Cat. Pasta and craft beer are my favorite food groups; hiking and beach days are my favorite outdoor activities; and I have an encyclopedic knowledge of the entire ten-season run of Stargate SG-1.
Wondering why this website is a little extra? I’ve got a blog post for that.
